Edwin Koot has been active in the Solar Energy business since 1994. Through his own companies Ekomation and Easysolar Edwin built up a lot of practical knowledge about the Dutch national situation and the international solar energy market.
With the foundation of his company Solarplaza in 2004, Edwin started building a broad informationplatform focused on the international solar energy market and the expansion of his large network of contacts and relations. By organizing international conferences and trade missions to production facilities; publishing in-depth market reports and supporting businesses in finding valuable contacts, Solarplaza has positioned itself as an important player in the PV industry. Richard Loyen - Managing director of Enerplan

Enerplan is the French solar industry association, a solar energy professionals network in France that works for solar energy development since 1983. Their mission: Represent the French solar energy sector, structure the solar energy sector (Solar Thermal & PV) and develop the demand in one of the biggest markets of the world. Richard Loyen has been involved, as co-ordinator or partner, in many European funded projects (OPET network, SOLARGE, European Solar Days, ...) in the renewable field since 1995.  

Sebastien Michel - Commercial Director Urbasolar

Sebastien Michel is the commercial director of Urbasolar. Urbasolar provides turnkey installation solutions and is the French marketleader on integrated photovoltaic applications.

Stuart Brannigan is the vice president  of marketing and business development  for the European division of LDK Solar. Stuart has over 20 years of experience in the PV sector and an extensive network of contacts across the entire industry. He has a comprehensive knowledge of manufacturers and technology and all facets of the value chain from polysilicon manufacturing to installers through to analysts, banks and investment groups. Before joining LDK Solar in 2011, Brannigan worked at Yingli Green Energy as managing director of the company’s European branch.

Jean-François Macaire - Premier vice-président du Conseil Régional Poitou-Charentes

Jean-François Macaire is Vice President of the Poitou-Charentes Regional Council since 2004, where he chairs the committee for Green growth and Ecological developmen. As an adviser of the city of Poitiers he is also president of public housing and Logiparc Sipea since 2001. In 2009, the Poitou-Charentes region launched an ambitious development plan for solar PV in conjunction with the European Investment Bank. Thomas de Moussac is Partner and Developement Manager of Technique Solaire, a French Residential Developer based in Poitiers. The company develops small scale projects (up to 9kw) for residential customers, but is also involved in larger roofprojects for professionals. Technique Solaire offers complete turnkey solutions.Arnaud Gossement - Barreau de Paris

Arnaud Gossement is an associate lawyer at Barreau de Paris. Gossement focuses on environmental and energy right, and therefore is an expert on the judicial procedures surrounding the renewable energy sector. 
He is a member of the Commission Environnement du Club des Juristes and the Syndicate of Renewable Energies. He has contributed to research through the University of Paris. 
As an expert on renewable energy law, Arnaud Gossement has been a guest at many conferences, providing information and valuable insights in to the legal hurdles that must be conquered in order to develop solar energy projects in France.

Antoine Chamussy – Managing Director, VOL-V Solar

Antoine Chamussy is co-founder and managing director of VOL-V Solar, the photovoltaic specialized subsidiary of VOL-V Group.
VOL-V is a French independent green electricity producer. VOL-V Solar initiate, develop, finance, build and run photovoltaic power plants.
The company is dedicated to PV rooftop power plants but is also running ground mounted PV plant.
VOL-V is now running 40 MW power plants, constructing 15 MW and has 100 MW of projects in development.

 

Jean-Louis Esteves - TCE Solar - Energies Commission of the Building Federation Grand Paris

TCE Solar is a construction company which aims to increase the economic and environmental value of its clients' (businesses and communities) building heritage via solar energy production.
The company designs and implements architectural solutions for electricity generation (BIPV) and energy efficiency (BBC, BEPOS) using innovative technologies. It guarantees the performance of the installations.
TCE Solar promotes a culture of made-to-measure projects within the building: windows (of various colors, thicknesses and shapes), railings, sunshades, tiles, membranes, blackout curtains, partition curtains, walls, facades, cladding, sills, cornices, paving stones, zinc, aluminum covering, etc.
The company has over 150 references and to date operates at a national level. The design side is handled on the Basque coast. Headquartered in Paris, the company is active in all of the major French regions.

Dominique Mercier - President, XErgies

XErgies Renewable Energy advises private companies and public and private financing organizations, and is active in France and worldwide. Its research department conducts the technical and economic pre-project research required for the implementation of REN power projects.
Dominique Mercier is one of the pioneers of solar energy in France. After designing thermodynamic solar pumps for SOFRETES (1975-1979), he created and headed the PV Systems Department at LEROY SOMER: solar pumps, refrigerators for dispensaries, power supply for telecommunications systems, etc. He has held various management and senior management positions in the electrical industry (Soulé, Sicame). Notably, he was one of the vice presidents of the HTA division at Alstom T&D. Dominique Mercier returned to REN in 2005 as Deputy Director General of VERGNET. He created XErgies in 2008. XErgies is a joint founding partner of Solar Enviro Partners. 


Jean François Perrin - CEO, MPO Energy & General Secretary, AIPF (The French PV Industrial Association)

MPO Energy, a subsidiary of the MPO Group, designs high-efficiency, innovative solar cells in crystalline silicon as part of the French R&D consortium PV20. It has been producing the solar cells since early 2011 at its industrial site in Mayenne. The AIPF (French Photovoltaic Industry Association) brings together companies within France which produce component materials for photovoltaic systems, with a view to creating a powerful industrial association. An engineer at Centrale Paris and a doctor-engineer, Jean-François Perrin has a wealth of experience in management, notably in the development of new activities and the implementation of new industrial tools. Jean-François Perrin has worked predominantly in the Energy & Environment sector in major groups (Saint-Gobain, Degrémont, Cegelec), but also for SMEs and ETI.

Mélanie Persem - Managing Director of the French-German Coordination Office Renewable Energy

Mélanie Persem is Managing Director of the French-German Coordination Office Renewable Energy, an association founded by the French Ministry of Industry and the German Ministry for the Environment in 2006. The Coordination Office Renewable Energy is devoted to promoting renewable energy in France and Germany and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experience between the two countries. The association is supported by the French and German ministries of environment, the energy and environment agencies of both countries as well as the renewable industry and the renewable energy associations in France and Germany.
Before joining the Coordination Office Renewable Energy, Mélanie Persem worked with the German Solar Industry Association.

Thierry Lepercq - Chairman Solairedirect

Thierry  Lepercq is the Chairman of Solairedirect. He is in charge of the solar power plant program and  finance packages and contributes his expertise in the creation and  development of technology sector businesses, financial engineering and  partnership and merger negotiations. After a career in merchant banking  specialising in the field of high-technology (Bankers Trust, Banque  Arjil, Oddo), he founded NetsCapital, the first financial institution  specialising in technology firms, in 1999. This was followed in 2003 by  the creation of Novatio Partners, a specialist consultancy focusing on  energy sector innovations. Most notably, he was responsible for  coordinating the work of the Réseau Innovation Energie network which  brought together top energy specialists and venture capitalists.

 Laurent Cuzzaini - Business Development Manager, Conergy France

Laurent Cuzzaini is Business Development Manager of Conergy SAS, the French subsidy of the German system manufacturer. Conergy has more than 12 years of experience in photovoltaics and a unique industry-wide expertise. The company has sold more than 1.5 GW of solar energy and our solar energy systems have been tried and  tested worldwide. All Conergy products are developed and produced in-house according to the highest German quality standards.Alain Ricaud - Engineer and MBA-ICG-Paris

Alain Ricaud, Engineer and MBA-ICG-Paris, has 30 years of experience in solar photovoltaics. He is the founder and manager of the firm CYTHELIA, former director of Photon in Angouleme France (1979-84), and worked for Solarex in the United States (1985-88), Solems in Palaiseau (1989-1992). Furthermore he is Associate Professor at the University of Savoie and advisor for DG TREN, the DGR of the European Union, ANR and OSEO.

Fabien Occhiptinti - Salesmanager Trina Solar France & Italy

Mr. Occhipinti joined Trina Solar in February 2007 as Sales Manager for France & Italy. In 2010, and thanks to his invaluable contribution to Trina Solar, he was appointed Sales Director. Prior to Trina Solar, Mr. Occhipinti had worked in Oil Space Inc, The European Society of Cardiology, and as consultant for leading companies within the Renewable Energy sector before setting up his own company, Ainergy. Mr. Occhipinti received his Master in Business Administration from Nice Sophia Antipolis Université de Droit et des Sciences Economiques and his Diploma in Marketing from Chartered Institute Of Marketing from London University. He possesses a deep experience in the renewable energy industry. 

Christine Hanon - Veolia Environnement

Christine Hanon is the Development Director for Eolfi, the solar and wind subsidiary of VEOLIA Environnement. Initiating the solar activity within Eolfi in 2007, she has directed key projects including the world's largest rooftop installation of 12MW. Christine works closely with Veolia's customers (local authorities and industrial plants) to provide photovoltaic solutions and is considered an expert in her field. Veolia-Eolfi is an renewable-energy project integrator, specializing in the development, construction, operations and the raising of funds through its asset management division to finance PV and wind installations. Eolfi has international presence in France, Greece, Poland and the United States.Tomaso Charlemont - Director of Sales EMEA, Satcon Technology Corporation

Tomaso Charlemont joined Satcon in 2008 as Manager of Business Development, EMEA, to spearhead the growth of Satcon in Europe, Middle East & Africa. Since 2010 Charlemont holds the position of Director of Sales EMEA heading the sales organization distributed in several countries to keep up the strong growth in the region.
